Day two of Hawaii - Tour

So our second day in Hawaii, we went on a tour of the island. This is Hanama bay....oh don't mind all my spelling because it will be really bad. It is one of the best places to snorkel on the island. We never went there because we didn't really want to pay to get in.

This little island is called rabbit island because it looks like a rabbit. It also used to have a ton of rabbits on the island, except they were multiplying too quickly and eating all the vegetation, so they were all killed.

This is at the macadamia nut farm. That place was pretty cool.

This is obviously the temple. Clayton got a great picture.

This was where we had lunch. The shrimp was way good.

This was an ancient temple. Although they did do human sacrifices at one point, this one was just used for flower and vegetation sacrifices.

This was the beach we eventually went out and snorkled at. It gets 40 foot waves in the winter time...it's pretty awesome.

This is turtle bay...because all the turtles are here. The turtles are way friendly with people. And all the locals can tell them apart. They all have names too.

This is Matsumoto's shaved ice. It's supposedly the best shaved ice there is, but I wasn't a very big fan. I did have beans on the bottom of mine, and I did like those a lot.

This was our tour bus driver, Richard.

This was Poly lookout...I think it was Clayton's favorite part. He just skipped on up to the lookout saying "I am so gonna move here." hehe...

There were feral chickens everywhere.

This is the lighthouse right outside of Diamond Head.
